Scilla is a small town situated in Calabria on the Strait of Messina, a village whose ancient origins are mixed up with myth and legend,
right now a popular seaside resort, known both for the beauty of the sea and beaches, and for the artistic and cultural attractions
present in its territory, first of all the Castle of Ruffos of Scilla, living witnesses of past centuries.
The castle separates the neighborhoods of Marina Grande, where there is one km of beach, from the district Chianalea, one of the most beautiful village in Italy,
characteristic for its position immediately behind the sea. San Giorgio is the center of the
town and where the Hotel Scilla is located.
